'Your time is NOW!' with Onyi Anyado

6/10/10

Fearless champions how you are doing? I know and believe you are overcoming those mind battles and ground on overcoming your fears.

Grace and Love were delighted at your progression last week, so with trust and a bond of friendship now developing they now start to leave you alone during the day whilst they go on other assignments and catch up with you when they get back in the evening.

So let’s take the first song and do our catch up after this.

Opening song – Lexi : ‘He’s here right now’

Yes nations you are welcome back to www.victorysound.co.uk and tuned into Touchstone with your host Bunmi Williams.

As Lexi just rightfully ministered ‘I don’t know what you came here to do, but as for me I came to get my blessing coz you see time is of the essence and not to be wasted, so when an opportunity comes, do you choose to let it slip you by?
Remember you may never get the chance again, time is a funny thing isn’t nations?
It’s there but yet if we don’t make use if it wisely it quickly disappears

"The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon  gone, and we fly away."

David, observed something and penned this verse that tho we may live for 70 or 80 but even with that longevity once we are called to the father’s bosom, that’s it…it’s all over!

Almost like we never existed or just here to work and die, you see that’ why it’s so crucial that we manage our time effectively, if we have a sense of urgency regarding time and we do  so with a ‘Yr time is now!’ attitude,,,, make your life and moments count for something, because we don’t know what tomorrow will bring, God forbid anything happens to us and we don’t make it to the next day, then what will our legacy be?
“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only."

Jesus spoke these words about his coming back, the time of his arrival TBC leaving us to keep watch for him and not get comfortable but always vigilant.

Do we honestly hand on heart know the time we are called to sojourn on earth for?
we all hope and pray it is for the 70-80 yrs David referred to in psalm 90 v10 but what of those who die young?

Could that have been their destinied time?
Who knows?
Only the father nows, but it made me realise that not matter what nations, your legacy has to be
established!

Now why has this issue of choice of time come up?

Well like previously mentioned earlier before the first song, Grace and love have been leaving you alone during the day, but when they get back over the last couple days, they’ve been noticing a change and some strange behaviour in you….

Day 1
Chatting away on the mobile

Day 2
Coach potatoe  infront of the tv

Day 3
Gazing aimlessly at people’s profiles on facebook

Day 4
Surfing for hours on the internet

Day 5
Flicking aimlessly through magazines

Day 6
STOP!!!!

Say grace and Love as they walk in take the credit card of you as you about buy something  even though you have no means to pay it back!
Let look at each other, shake their heads and Grace asks you a very obvious but timely question…
What is going on?

"Since middle of this week we noticed a change, a movement but not one of going forward but backwards, we get home and yr just laying around and all day burning up electricity, gas, phone, internet…..what are you doing with your time all day?"

It’s like everything we taught over the last month has fallen on stoney  ground and deaf ears.
Nations, last week your were fearless and fall of faith, the father would have been proud.
Now you are becoming lazy and unrecognisable, what’s happened to you? asks Grace

‘I don’t know’ say you say, ‘maybe I just got comfortable with all the comforts and easy access to all the luxuries around me guess, I know it’s wrong it that when things are in front of you, the temptation to just become lazy just takes over, I’m sorry!’

Love sits you down and talks to you, ‘listen nations we understand, truly we do, we come across many people with different afflictions and burdens but know this….
"For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."
Paul spoke these words to the Hebrews in chp 4 v15 that Jesus passed through trial, persecution and carried every sin and shame known to man to his death so that we may have life and life in abundance and that’s why we are here to guide you through these trials and train you to become stronger and overcome the temptations of the world.
Understand where grace is coming from, it’s one thing to have us around but you to be careful that you don’t get complacent and take our presence, your growth and blessings for granted

Again to quote Paul

Romans 6

Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ
1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Please explain?
Let's liken it to a relationship/friendship nations. Just because you know they are around does that mean you can mistreat them and expect them not to mind or say anything?
True the love is there, but it’s not an excuse to mistreat them, for one day you could turn around and they are gone.

Memory phrase
The more of what you use simply decreases in size unless you keep refilling it. Unless you start to do right before it get's refilled back up again.

How can you do things the father does not like and expect he too won’t be upset at one point?
When Christ died on the cross he carried all our sinful nature with him and that died too.
So When he rose from the dead, we then……..fill in the gaps….’we rose with him?’

Yes says love coz the opposite of death is life!

So if Christ is living then we are living and Paul states we are living a NEW life – so therefore are ways most be new also! Old habits have to get flushed down the toilet, old thinking removed and new behaviours acquired!

Are you getting the picture asks Love?

‘Words are only half the power if not backed up with practical knowledge, so it’s time for you to go to one of Life Coach Onyi Anyando ‘Yr time is now’ workshops.

After wards, Grace and Love take you to meet Onyi for a one-to-one session  on which you get to meet him in person.

Interview transcript - for the podcast - http://www.victorysound.co.uk/
Welcome Onyi to touchstone, you are welcome,

please intro yourself and tell us a bit about your self?

That clip we just played was actually from Yr time is now workshops that you run, tell us a bit about that?

The phrase 'the time is now' is yr catchphrase, why is time and what we do with it so important to you Onyi?

In the hectic modern lifestyle, how do we make our time work for us and not against us?
Do you have any practical tips on time management?

How do you manage your time?

Your present skills and knowledge on time effectiveness, are they natural or did you acquire them through any form of training?

First song – such an awesome God – Kevin Lemar (youtube)

How important is it for us to keep personally developing ourselves?

Recently, for me to gain more time for myself I had to turn down an appointment which meant saying no, why is saying no difficult and how can we do it without causing offence?

Onyi, with modern life comes too much time on the mobile, surfing all day on the net, tv coach potatoe...how do we get stuck in these routines and how can we get out?

Why are these do damaging to our timetables and even our future destinies?

Onyi, yr a spirit filled Christian, tell us what brought you in the faith?

Tell us about yr goal setting?

Now Onyi, your going to give us a coaching lesson, so we got our pens and paper ready, so were ready to learn, teacher teach....... for podcast of teaching - http://www.victorysound.co.uk/

Second song – something inside so strong
Welcome back to touchstone, Onyi you choose to bless us with a song, what is the inspiration behind something inside so strong?

Thank you Onyi and see you...AT THE TOP!

Nations, were you not blessed, U R blessed!!!

So whenever you get down and weary, lost and confused just remember you have something in side so strong THE HOLY SPIRIT – the comforter – remember the song from last week by CeCe winans Comfortor it’s inside all of us guiding us, instructing us…all we have to be is obedient and listen.

Matthew 28:20 (King James Version)

20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." John 16 v33

Christ told these wise sayings for a time such as this, for you to be encouraged and understand that when faced with difficulties just remember that you have risen with him, so you are now dead to sin and alive in christ as Paul said to the Romans.

Let's Pray!So when sinful old ways want to rise their head speak out NO! I’m a new creature in Christ and have a new life, these old habits I renounce you in Jesus name. This is not your home or your house, you are not permitted to stay or occupy in any part of me. Amen.

Declare a thing!
Claim your victory over timewasting.
Claim your victory over laziness
Claim your victory of slouchiness
Claim your victory over mindless, mindnumbing voyeurism (watching others all day and doing nothing towards build your legacy)
Claim your victory over losing precious time via gossip on the phone, facebook,
Claim victory over your finances from wasting resourcs you don’t have by spending credit and money you don’t really have thus leading to debt.

Claim your time back!!!!!

Pray – God the precious gift of time you have given us, let me be able to use it wisely as your states in:
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time…..
Teach me what to do with it,  how to manage it and create more of it when there seems to be less of it. Keep me away from timewasters and things that are nothing more than disguised delightful distractions that appear as opportunites but if entered into will take my focus of my destiny and most importantly time spent with you in your presence. In Jesus name. Amen.

Nations keep this in mind what Love said before ‘anything that you spend time on you have to give back for as something decreases it needs to be refilled back up again

Practical points.
So when on internet using electricity – am I paying for it? – do I have money the bill? If no then limit your time.

Mobilegone over your monthly credit and don’t want get cut off – limit amount time talking and train yourself to be concise and to the point.  Even if got free calls make sure your speech is edifying about another and not one of gossip!

Instead of following or copying the creativity of others, we need to stand still to get a revelation or vision from God that will build your business or receive innovation that will leave a lasting legacy for others to follow.
Look at the modern day example Facebook & Apple – we admire and use them but what if someone didn’t take  their time to construct these?

Nations, it’s time to reassess the old and bring in the new and if  it’s not edifying to me or others and God’s hand isn’t in it, it’s just time wasting and I’m not partaking it!

So as we finish this lesson, as Lexi sings out let the paramount principle for time management be ‘Wherever the Lord is, is where I want to be’ that way your seconds, minutes and hours won’t be fruitless but blessed and mulitiplied always.

Closing song – Lexi – wherever the Lord is.

Successful at the wrong assignment! with Samson Taiwo

Yes nations,         YOUR WELCOME!!

My name is Bunmi Williams and this is the blog for my radio show Touchstone on http://www.victorysound.co.uk/ – TOUCHING HEARTS OF THE NATIONS TO RELEASE THEIR HIDDEN JEMS – unlocking the hidden mystery of life, making the word –  plain and realigning people back to their true destiny!

In this show I wanted to address the somewhat complex of issue of 'being successful at the wrong assignment' and all the related topics that go alongside i.e purpose, vision, ministry, ambition and assignment.
The guest speaker for the show was Samson Taiwo - a very knowledagebale minister who has studied assignment in detail and delivered in-depth presentations on this issue.
Having sat under his teachings many a time, I knew that he would do justice in expanding out this topic more and breaking down what all these words actually mean on paper, but most importantly, enabling us to understand the potency they carry when released into the atmosphere of one's life.
I started the class by asking how the notes from all the previous shows were going and whether they were being put into practice?

AS, It's so important not to just hear nice words, or have a show that one just tunes into. I really want us all thoroughly through this transition period into Canaan, we have to be not just a hearer of the word but a doer also, words are sweet nations on the ear of the listener and even sweeter on the tongue of the speaker.
I don't want talk for talking sake, or to entertain but to ensure that CHANGE does occur in all our lives and that only happens when we make a conscious decision to hear, be obedient and follow through.

So nations but prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. James 1 v22

Remember nations what took Abram to Abraham, 75 yr old man that society would have labeled as a ‘has been’ or ‘past it!’ to become one the greatest land owners of all time…
He heard a word from the father nations and he ACTED upon it! So crucial that we follow through into action good advice when we hear it.

'....Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. '
This is what Paul the apostle urged as he addressed the church of Philippi in chp 4 v 9 in his letter to them.
Also, in the earlier verse Paul urges us, that whatever is good - to think on those things.

FIRST SONG – SHOLA VICTOR-SAJOWA – ‘To him who sits’ (more details below)

In the second half of the show, the story between yourself, Grace and Love continues from the earlier week of  'YOUR TIME IS NOW!' with Onyo Onyando

So after going through of a dip of time wasting and getting a bit happy with the credit card by ordering things  you've put your best foot forward and now learning to be responsible for one’s actions and been doing some buying and selling to recoup the money back.
Your making good money and been really successful at it so continues doing it and are even making profit from it. So you keep doing it.

Then one day out of the blue, you call Grace & Love to speak to them and you drop an unexpected bombshell….
"I’m not happy and to be honest I haven’t been content for a while and feel that something is missing."

Grace and Love look at each other with their ususal knowing smile and then tell you that they have known for a while but didnt say anything as you had made a CHOICE and didn't want to interfere as the Father respects choice.

MEMORY PHRASE
It's through choice that we learn the lessons that make us become better people for the future.

Remember what the earlier lessons nations, when man got banished from the eden, God didn’t end the story of creation there neither did we get destroyed NO....

MEMORY PHRASE
Choice was given to exercise but wisdom also, to ensure we make the right choice.

Still feeling confused that out of a wrong choice good can still come out of it, you ask.....
"so is it possible to be successful at the wrong assignment?"

With that Grace and Love take you to see the  'Ambassador' of assignment Samson Taiwo to have your questions answered.

For the actual audio of show containing Samson's teaching and interview - http://www.victorysound.co.uk/

We catch him as he teaching and during the break we get to catch up with him to ask him a few questions

Transcript of interview
Hello Samson, you are blessed & welcome to touchstone

Please just intro yrslf and tell the nations a bit about yrself?

Some powerful teaching Samson, I mean let's start by unraveling exactly why this word assignment is crucial to living a fulfilled life?

How did you know or find out that yours was?

How can one know one's assignment?

Going to vision and ambition, I know there are schools of thought that the two are not the same and vision should be more adhered to more than ambition, what's your view?

How does one know the difference?

How can you tell when you are veering from your destined vision into what your personal ambition?

What can one do to get back on track?

Second song - SAMSON TAIWO - THROUGH THE VALLEY (more details below)

PURPOSE - such a powerful word yet so many are ignorant of theirs, why?

Samson, how can one find out their purpose and from what age should we really know about ours?

You’re a christain and someone of faith, how did God reveal his purpose to you?

How has your faith kept you in line with your divine purpose?

Why is faith in God so crucial to our purpose?

Samson, taking it back to assignment, I know this word is very much intertwined with the word ministry, are they the same and what is ministry?

Is everyone called into ministry or only the selected few ie believers and nonbelievers, pastors and parishioners?

If we all took our everyday lives and jobs as ministry, would there be a significant change in society, is that what is lacking in our generation?

'Where would man be without purpose?'
SAMSON’S RE-STARTS TEACHING - audio podcasts - http://www.victorysound.co.uk/
Nations, you’re now feeing more refreshed and light-headed like a burden been lifted off, things are starting to make sense as to:
- Why you were feeling empty?

- Why thoughts of other ideas kept coming to you but blocked them out, as felt that it made sense to stick with something that had a guaranteed result only to now realise that, it was all rooted in a fear of failure instead to having a character of faith and stepping out regardless….

Let's Pray!
‘Father, as I come into your presence, forgive me for my ignorance of not knowing of forgetting what James said in chp1 v 17 that 'Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, so everything I get or receive is stemmed from you, especially that of my assignment, vision and most importantly my purpose.
I understand now when you said to Jeremiah chp1, that before he was born he had already been predestined to be a prophet  to the nations, so based on that word, Lord, snow, reveal to me
WHAT MY PURPOSE IS? tell me WHAT I AM HERE ON THIS EARTH FOR?, show me WHERE MY DESTINED PATH IS? Give me CLARITY OF VISION on this? Put in my way my DESTINY HELPERS? And Keep me focused on DIVINE CALLING always, thank you Lord, thank you Father amen.

You admit this is one of the most riddled yet life-changing lessons yet that you’ve learnt.

Grace agrees and informs thant many a mighty men have fallen just simply due to being out of line of their true assignment that’s why knowledge of purpose is so key.

Then Love, hands you a package stating that it was a parting gift from Samson to you, you open it and it’s a recording of Myles Munroe.

DR MYLES MUNROE – PURPOSE FOR PRAYER – YOUTUBE

MEMORY VERSE
Prov 19v21 – many are the plans in a man’s heart but it’s the lord’s will that will prevail.

LET'S RECAP
Nations it’s time to re-visit your goals

Are they in line with the father’s?
Are you doing what you were created for?
Did you start out on road VISION then move into the fast lane of AMBITION? They look the same but have different end destinations.
Do you see your job/work/business just as that, not realizing it’s part of your higher call of service to mankind…nations it’s your ministry, remember it’s not just for some, everyone has a call to serve mankind, are you in yours?

Every single answer to each of questions, are the jems that will make up your crown of leadership that will be placed on your head nations, when you return back to the palace.

Ask the father & pray, he’s near not far, he’ll respond accordingly.

Remember you were created by him and for him.
Your assignment governs your life, so why not go to the governor and get your right answer, because as minister Shola victor-sajowa now sings, our life, assignment and ministry is not just about us it’s most importantly about him.

Closing song – It’s all about you – Shola Victor-sajowa
