'Your time is NOW!' with Onyi Anyado

6/10/10

Fearless champions how you are doing? I know and believe you are overcoming those mind battles and ground on overcoming your fears.

Grace and Love were delighted at your progression last week, so with trust and a bond of friendship now developing they now start to leave you alone during the day whilst they go on other assignments and catch up with you when they get back in the evening.

So let’s take the first song and do our catch up after this.

Opening song – Lexi : ‘He’s here right now’

Yes nations you are welcome back to www.victorysound.co.uk and tuned into Touchstone with your host Bunmi Williams.

As Lexi just rightfully ministered ‘I don’t know what you came here to do, but as for me I came to get my blessing coz you see time is of the essence and not to be wasted, so when an opportunity comes, do you choose to let it slip you by?
Remember you may never get the chance again, time is a funny thing isn’t nations?
It’s there but yet if we don’t make use if it wisely it quickly disappears

"The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon  gone, and we fly away."

David, observed something and penned this verse that tho we may live for 70 or 80 but even with that longevity once we are called to the father’s bosom, that’s it…it’s all over!

Almost like we never existed or just here to work and die, you see that’ why it’s so crucial that we manage our time effectively, if we have a sense of urgency regarding time and we do  so with a ‘Yr time is now!’ attitude,,,, make your life and moments count for something, because we don’t know what tomorrow will bring, God forbid anything happens to us and we don’t make it to the next day, then what will our legacy be?
“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only."

Jesus spoke these words about his coming back, the time of his arrival TBC leaving us to keep watch for him and not get comfortable but always vigilant.

Do we honestly hand on heart know the time we are called to sojourn on earth for?
we all hope and pray it is for the 70-80 yrs David referred to in psalm 90 v10 but what of those who die young?

Could that have been their destinied time?
Who knows?
Only the father nows, but it made me realise that not matter what nations, your legacy has to be
established!

Now why has this issue of choice of time come up?

Well like previously mentioned earlier before the first song, Grace and love have been leaving you alone during the day, but when they get back over the last couple days, they’ve been noticing a change and some strange behaviour in you….

Day 1
Chatting away on the mobile

Day 2
Coach potatoe  infront of the tv

Day 3
Gazing aimlessly at people’s profiles on facebook

Day 4
Surfing for hours on the internet

Day 5
Flicking aimlessly through magazines

Day 6
STOP!!!!

Say grace and Love as they walk in take the credit card of you as you about buy something  even though you have no means to pay it back!
Let look at each other, shake their heads and Grace asks you a very obvious but timely question…
What is going on?

"Since middle of this week we noticed a change, a movement but not one of going forward but backwards, we get home and yr just laying around and all day burning up electricity, gas, phone, internet…..what are you doing with your time all day?"

It’s like everything we taught over the last month has fallen on stoney  ground and deaf ears.
Nations, last week your were fearless and fall of faith, the father would have been proud.
Now you are becoming lazy and unrecognisable, what’s happened to you? asks Grace

‘I don’t know’ say you say, ‘maybe I just got comfortable with all the comforts and easy access to all the luxuries around me guess, I know it’s wrong it that when things are in front of you, the temptation to just become lazy just takes over, I’m sorry!’

Love sits you down and talks to you, ‘listen nations we understand, truly we do, we come across many people with different afflictions and burdens but know this….
"For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."
Paul spoke these words to the Hebrews in chp 4 v15 that Jesus passed through trial, persecution and carried every sin and shame known to man to his death so that we may have life and life in abundance and that’s why we are here to guide you through these trials and train you to become stronger and overcome the temptations of the world.
Understand where grace is coming from, it’s one thing to have us around but you to be careful that you don’t get complacent and take our presence, your growth and blessings for granted

Again to quote Paul

Romans 6

Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ
1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Please explain?
Let's liken it to a relationship/friendship nations. Just because you know they are around does that mean you can mistreat them and expect them not to mind or say anything?
True the love is there, but it’s not an excuse to mistreat them, for one day you could turn around and they are gone.

Memory phrase
The more of what you use simply decreases in size unless you keep refilling it. Unless you start to do right before it get's refilled back up again.

How can you do things the father does not like and expect he too won’t be upset at one point?
When Christ died on the cross he carried all our sinful nature with him and that died too.
So When he rose from the dead, we then……..fill in the gaps….’we rose with him?’

Yes says love coz the opposite of death is life!

So if Christ is living then we are living and Paul states we are living a NEW life – so therefore are ways most be new also! Old habits have to get flushed down the toilet, old thinking removed and new behaviours acquired!

Are you getting the picture asks Love?

‘Words are only half the power if not backed up with practical knowledge, so it’s time for you to go to one of Life Coach Onyi Anyando ‘Yr time is now’ workshops.

After wards, Grace and Love take you to meet Onyi for a one-to-one session  on which you get to meet him in person.

Interview transcript - for the podcast - http://www.victorysound.co.uk/
Welcome Onyi to touchstone, you are welcome,

please intro yourself and tell us a bit about your self?

That clip we just played was actually from Yr time is now workshops that you run, tell us a bit about that?

The phrase 'the time is now' is yr catchphrase, why is time and what we do with it so important to you Onyi?

In the hectic modern lifestyle, how do we make our time work for us and not against us?
Do you have any practical tips on time management?

How do you manage your time?

Your present skills and knowledge on time effectiveness, are they natural or did you acquire them through any form of training?

First song – such an awesome God – Kevin Lemar (youtube)

How important is it for us to keep personally developing ourselves?

Recently, for me to gain more time for myself I had to turn down an appointment which meant saying no, why is saying no difficult and how can we do it without causing offence?

Onyi, with modern life comes too much time on the mobile, surfing all day on the net, tv coach potatoe...how do we get stuck in these routines and how can we get out?

Why are these do damaging to our timetables and even our future destinies?

Onyi, yr a spirit filled Christian, tell us what brought you in the faith?

Tell us about yr goal setting?

Now Onyi, your going to give us a coaching lesson, so we got our pens and paper ready, so were ready to learn, teacher teach....... for podcast of teaching - http://www.victorysound.co.uk/

Second song – something inside so strong
Welcome back to touchstone, Onyi you choose to bless us with a song, what is the inspiration behind something inside so strong?

Thank you Onyi and see you...AT THE TOP!

Nations, were you not blessed, U R blessed!!!

So whenever you get down and weary, lost and confused just remember you have something in side so strong THE HOLY SPIRIT – the comforter – remember the song from last week by CeCe winans Comfortor it’s inside all of us guiding us, instructing us…all we have to be is obedient and listen.

Matthew 28:20 (King James Version)

20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." John 16 v33

Christ told these wise sayings for a time such as this, for you to be encouraged and understand that when faced with difficulties just remember that you have risen with him, so you are now dead to sin and alive in christ as Paul said to the Romans.

Let's Pray!So when sinful old ways want to rise their head speak out NO! I’m a new creature in Christ and have a new life, these old habits I renounce you in Jesus name. This is not your home or your house, you are not permitted to stay or occupy in any part of me. Amen.

Declare a thing!
Claim your victory over timewasting.
Claim your victory over laziness
Claim your victory of slouchiness
Claim your victory over mindless, mindnumbing voyeurism (watching others all day and doing nothing towards build your legacy)
Claim your victory over losing precious time via gossip on the phone, facebook,
Claim victory over your finances from wasting resourcs you don’t have by spending credit and money you don’t really have thus leading to debt.

Claim your time back!!!!!

Pray – God the precious gift of time you have given us, let me be able to use it wisely as your states in:
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time…..
Teach me what to do with it,  how to manage it and create more of it when there seems to be less of it. Keep me away from timewasters and things that are nothing more than disguised delightful distractions that appear as opportunites but if entered into will take my focus of my destiny and most importantly time spent with you in your presence. In Jesus name. Amen.

Nations keep this in mind what Love said before ‘anything that you spend time on you have to give back for as something decreases it needs to be refilled back up again

Practical points.
So when on internet using electricity – am I paying for it? – do I have money the bill? If no then limit your time.

Mobilegone over your monthly credit and don’t want get cut off – limit amount time talking and train yourself to be concise and to the point.  Even if got free calls make sure your speech is edifying about another and not one of gossip!

Instead of following or copying the creativity of others, we need to stand still to get a revelation or vision from God that will build your business or receive innovation that will leave a lasting legacy for others to follow.
Look at the modern day example Facebook & Apple – we admire and use them but what if someone didn’t take  their time to construct these?

Nations, it’s time to reassess the old and bring in the new and if  it’s not edifying to me or others and God’s hand isn’t in it, it’s just time wasting and I’m not partaking it!

So as we finish this lesson, as Lexi sings out let the paramount principle for time management be ‘Wherever the Lord is, is where I want to be’ that way your seconds, minutes and hours won’t be fruitless but blessed and mulitiplied always.

Closing song – Lexi – wherever the Lord is.
